Deltana is an Australian based company which has been established to take advantage of oil and gas exploration and development opportunities, principally in the Americas: "Deltana - the delta lands"

The Deltana management have initially targeted premium oil and gas properties with significant resources in the highly priced and developed south eastern United States of Texas and Louisiana and northern South Americas (viz, Venezuela). In addition, opportunities within Australasia are currently under review for their prospectivity and ease of development. Deltana's participating interest is targeted in the range of 25%-50% working interests ("WI").

The relatively moderate cost and exploration risk, together with an excellent production scenario make identified opportunities in the Gulf of Mexico region, very attractive and offers high potential value, especially considering its technical merits and Permit location in a proven producing basin with established onshore infrastructure (reticulated pipeline networks) and access to relatively “pricy” gas markets with multiple gas Resellers.
